I have just three things to teach:
simplicity, patience, compassion.
These three are your greatest treasures.

you return to the source of being.
Patient with both friends and enemies,
you accord with the way things are.

Stand with knees bent, feet spread wide yet comfortable with knees directly over feet, toes wider than ankles
Palms on thighs just above knee, arm straight
Torso long and easy (natural spinal curve from tail to crown)
Relax the head so that it rests back into pillow of the neck while continuing to maintain easy length in torso from tail to top of heart (this is turtle with head in shell)
Gently extend neck evenly in all directions maintaining same position with rest of body (turtle extending head out of shell)
Move back and forth through this position until just before legs start to over fatigue

Focus of Breath & Embodiment during Pose:

In-breath extend the head out of the shell inquisitively observing the world around you, peering out
Out-breath relaxing muscles and allowing the head to come back in for quiet reflection
All movements done with the utmost care and awareness… nowhere to go, nothing to get, just inquisitiveness, observation, relaxing warm reflection
